Campsite in the Verdon Natural Regional Park
Discover the Verdon Canyon
Straddling the French departments of Var and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in the French pre-Alps, the Verdon canyon is the section of the Verdon river that runs from Castellane up to the Sainte-Croix Lake. This section, stretching out over approximately fifty metres, is absolutely stunning. The gorges here are narrow and deep (up to 700 metres deep) and the geological formations, created by erosion, are just magnificent. This canyon carved out by the river is so stunning that it is widely considered to be the most beautiful canyons in Europe. You have been warned! Camping, Verdon, Park: if you hear these three words, think about the fabulous holiday awaiting you at the 5-star La Farigoulette campsite in Verdon.
